What is Proppy?
Proppy is a WhatsApp AI assistant built for property agents in Singapore. It connects to your WhatsApp Business, imports your listings from the internet, and handles customer enquiries and viewing bookings automatically.
Do I need to change my WhatsApp number?
No. Proppy connects to your existing WhatsApp Business number using WhatsApp's coexistence feature. Your prospects keep messaging the same number they always have, and you keep using your WhatsApp Business app as normal.
Can my prospects tell they're chatting with AI?
No. The conversation looks like it's coming from you. Proppy replies through your WhatsApp Business number, so prospects never know they're chatting with AI.
What happens when I reply manually?
Proppy detects your reply and goes silent on that conversation for 2 hours, so it doesn't talk over you. After 2 hours of no replies from you, Proppy resumes automatically. The handoff is seamless - the prospect never notices.
Can I control when Proppy responds?
Yes. You can set Proppy to Always Active (responds 24/7), Scheduled (responds only during specific hours, e.g. evenings and weekends), or Paused (stops responding entirely). Even in Always Active mode, Proppy pauses automatically when you reply manually.
How does the calendar cross-check work?
Proppy checks three things before offering a time slot: (1) the listing's viewing schedule, (2) your working hours and Google Calendar events, and (3) existing bookings. Only times that pass all three checks are offered to prospects.
Can I allow multiple viewings at the same time?
Yes. For open-house style viewings, you can enable concurrent bookings per listing. Multiple prospects can book the same time slot for that listing, while your other listings and personal events still block that time.
How does the listing import work?
Proppy will periodically search for agents' listings available on the internet.
Does Proppy work with Google Calendar?
Yes. If you sign up with Google, your calendar is connected automatically. Viewings booked through Proppy appear as calendar events, and your existing events are checked when offering time slots to prevent conflicts.
Can I customize Proppy's greeting message?
Yes. You can set a custom greeting that Proppy sends when a new prospect messages you for the first time. Go to Proppy > Greeting Message to edit it.
